Having spent a good Christmas at Tenuta Don Carmelo, I can confidently say it's a hidden gem perfect for families. The large garden and inviting swimming pool were an utter hit with the kids, who spent hours splashing around and befriending the resident cats - a magical setting that felt like our own slice of paradise! Our spacious room was cleaned daily, with the air conditioning providing a refreshing escape from the heat. We loved whipping up breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen, and the breakfast provisions left for us were a lovely personal touch. Even though it's a bit out of town, the peaceful surroundings and ample parking made it easy to explore Lecce when we wanted to. Ideal for a family getaway rather than a couple's retreat, Tenuta Don Carmelo gave us everything we needed for a fun and relaxing stay. Trust me, if you're traveling with kids who thrive on sunshine and adventure, this is the place for you!
